WE ARE DELIGHTED TO WELCOME YOU TO LEAMINGTON DANCE CENTRE,
AN ESTABLISHED DANCE SCHOOL PROVIDING CLASSES AND TUITION FOR OVER 40 YEARS.
What we offer
At Leamington dance Centre we offer dance classes for all levels of dancer, from beginners through to competition level.
Classes are held throughout the week and are for adults over the age of 18.
Regrettably we do not offer dance classes for children.
We teach Ballroom, Latin American, Sequence, Paso Doble, Viennese Waltz, Argentine tango and American Smooth.
We also offer private lessons for individuals who want to improve their dancing or for couples who want to add a bit of
Glamour to their first dance.

Meet the team
David
David is our principal teacher and has been dancing for over 40 years and has been the owner of leamington Dance Centre for 8 years. Totally committed to providing all dancers from beginners to competition level to achieving the best out of their dancing. Whether it be a hobby or something more David will assist you on your journey to ensure you get the most out of your lessons and beyond. His enthusiasm and passion are second to none.
Jayne
Jayne is in charge of all events and marketing and
also assists David in the classes.
She started dancing 18 years ago and particularly enjoys the Ballroom.
Les
Les is our resident DJ for our Saturday night social dances.
He has been at Leamington dance centre for more years than he would like to admit and is also a qualified dance teacher.
Les loves Rock & Roll and in particular The Jets.
His devotion to dance combined with his wicked sense of humour make him a key part of the team.
John
John is our head barman.
He started dancing at the school 6 years ago and met his now wife over a glass of wine or two!
You are always guaranteed a warm welcome and service with a smile.
FAQ's
Do I Need A Partner?
it is perfectly okay to come on your own; however, should you wish to progress beyond beginners a regular partner is preferable.
Do I Need To Book?
No, you can just turn up to your chosen class and pay on the door. Please note we only take cash
What to wear?
Most dancers wear casual shoes and clothing that is easy to move in. It does help if your footwear is soft and not rigid. We do not advise high heels, slippery soles of sling backs.
When Can I start?
Classes are run on a 4-week repeat basis, so we ask that you start on week 1. Start dates are on the Timetable under your chosen class.
Dance Teachers
All of our dance teachers are a highly qualified, friendly and supportive team of individuals who teach to the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) curriculum.
