WHY DANCE?
Dancing is our first line of social activity. Good dancing is a lifetime investment in fun, poise, confidence, improved personality, and new friends. Beyond these, dancing is a superb physical conditioner – providing fun without working at it. It opens up a wonderful new world of togetherness and a thriving year-round social calendar!
DO I NEED A PARTNER?
It is perfectly acceptable to come on your own as most newcomers tend to find a partner in the beginners classes. However, should you wish to improve your dancing skills to a level where you want to take a medal test, then a regular partner is preferable.
TO BOOK OR NOT TO BOOK?
Social Dance, Ballroom & Latin
The Dance Centre does not take bookings for the weekly classes, just turn up on the allotted night and pay on the door.
Rock’n’Roll
Advance booking is helpful for the beginners course but not essential.
ARE PRIVATE LESSONS AVAILABLE?
Absolutely! Private lessons are ideal if you looking to improve your dancing skills, learn that all important wedding dance or simply if you need to catch up on missed class lessons.
We also offer gift vouchers should you wish to give someone the gift of dance! These are available all year round and can be used for private lessons or classes.
